1,672 sanctioned cadre posts for graduate teachers in Nagaland

Nagaland’s Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has said there are 1,672 sanctioned state cadre posts for graduate teachers currently in 247 government high schools and 645 GTs in 52 higher secondary schools.

Kohima, Nagaland, February 27 (HBTV): Nagaland’s Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today said there are 1,672 sanctioned state cadre posts for graduate teachers (GT) currently in 247 government high schools and 645 GTs in 52 government higher secondary schools across Nagaland.     



Rio gave the information during the ongoing fourth session of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on February 27 in Kohima.



Replying to MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu in the assembly, Rio furnished the list of subject-wise graduate teachers in government high schools and higher secondary schools.   



On being queried about the total strength of sanctioned posts in Kohima, Zunheboto, Mokokchung, Tuensang, and Mon district, Rio said there are 212 graduate teachers in 17 government high schools in Kohima district; 124 graduate teachers in 22 government high schools in Zunheboto district; 250 graduate teachers in 38 government high schools in Mokokchung district; 158 graduate teachers in 15 government high schools in Tuensang district; and 91 graduate teachers in 16 government high schools in Mon district.
